Albert Dyckes ’53, ‘58

Keeping Ohio healthy has been a big part of Albert Dyckes’ life. After serving as an Army sergeant and high school social studies teacher, he became the deputy director of the Ohio Department of Health in 1963. He then became the associate coordinator of the Ohio Regional Medical Program at The Ohio State University, where he was responsible for administration and supervision for 73 counties around Columbus. Dyckes later served as deputy director of the Mid-Ohio Health Planning Federation, he became senior vice president for the Ohio Hospital Association.
