Frank Dick has served local school children through his 28 years of leading school systems in Northwest Ohio. He began his education career in 1950 as superintendent of 180 students in the Portage Township Schools. He moved to Pandora-Gilboa School District, Sylvania City Schools and then Toledo City District. He received the Ohio Congress of Parents and Teachers Award in 1974 and was inducted into the Toledo City Athletic Hall of Fame.
