Daniel Ayalon is in the business of peace. He served as Israel’s ambassador to the United States from 2002-06 during which relations between the two countries reached an all-time high. Ayalon played a leading role in securing the agreement for $10 billion in U.S. grants and loan guarantees to Israel; the Roadmap to Peace, which included an Exchange of Letters between President Bush and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and labor studies and earned a master’s degree in business administration from BGSU.
