John F. Meier ‘70

John F. Meier has been chairman and chief executive officer of Libbey Inc. since the company went public in 1993. He served as vice president of Owens-Illinois and executive vice president and general manager of its subsidiary, Libbey Glass. Meier is also a director of Applied Industrial Technologies Inc. since 2005. He has been a director of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. since 1997 and its lead director since 2007.
