Andrew “Andy”  Housholder ‘55

Andy Housholder has taught generations of students how to sing. He has taught choral and orchestral classes in New York public schools and was a choral conductor at New York University, Dowling College, Nassau Community College and Ithaca College. Housholder has conducted more than 40 All-State Choirs in Ohio, New York and New Jersey. He has conducted at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in New York.  He took 13 choirs on world concert tours from 1971-88 and encouraged more than 70 of his students to attend BGSU.
