If you get a paycheck, chances are Bob Sebo’s company processed it. After serving as district sales manager of the Cadillac Motor Division General Motors in western New York, he started working with Paychex, which only had two employees then. In 1974, he began Paychex of Ohio, concentrating on the area from Salem to Cleveland. Paychex became a public company in 1982 and Sebo served as senior vice president for Paychex of Rochester, N.Y. The company processes the payrolls of about 700,000 clients, making it the second largest payroll processing firm in the United States. Sebo is chairman of the BGSU Board of Trustees, a member of the Presidents Club and provided the lead gift for construction of the Sebo Athletic Center.
